1/3/01: Grammy Nominations For Paper Bag & When The Pawn...
At a press conference held early this morning at The Hilton Hotel in LosAngeles Cali., the nominees for the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards were announced, and of course the efforts of When The Pawn... did NOT go unnoticed.
Fiona was nominated in 2 catagoreys this year: Best Alternative Music Performance {When The Pawn..} and Best Female Rock Vocal Performance {Paper Bag}, which Fiona won in 1998 for her hit "Criminal". Hopefully Fiona will win seeing how no one can deny the undying force of When The Pawn.. and Paper Bag which has been described as her best moment on WTP for it's artsy rhythm and beat.
